Announcing an historic and exciting educational opportunity. In 2008, for the first time in the seventy-nine year history of the English-Speaking Union’s Secondary School Exchange program, a scholarship was offered by The English-Speaking Union of Argentina. This scholarship is again being offered for an American student to live and study for a semester in Argentina, August through November 2009.

The Secondary School Exchange scholarship to Argentina is a merit based scholarship offered to the student who would best serve as a cultural ambassador for the United States and make the most of the chance to study in another country, exchange ideas and broaden their perspectives. The student must be comfortable speaking and writing in Spanish on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be offered a full scholarship including tuition, room and board for one term in Argentina.

The application process and deadlines are the same as those set by the regional chair of participating ESU US Branches for the students applying for the Secondary School Exchange scholarship to the United Kingdom.
