Ed Park is a founding editor of The Believer and the author of the novel Personal Days (Random House), which was a finalist for the PEN Hemingway Award and the John Sargent Sr. First Novel Prize, and was named one of Time's Top Ten Fiction Books of the year. He is a former editor of the Voice Literary Supplement and poetryfoundation.org. His articles and reviews appear regularly in the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, and elsewhere, and his nonfiction appears this year in Burn This Book (HarperStudio), Read Hard (McSweeney's), and Exilée and Temps Morts, a collection of work by Theresa Hak Kyung Cha ( University of California ). He teaches creative writing in the graduate writing program at Columbia and at NYU's Gallatin School.
