Institute Instructors: • Michael LoMonico, Folger Master Teacher Mr. LoMonico is Senior Consultant on National Education at the Folger Shakespeare Library and a retired teacher with over thirty years experience in the classroom. • Ann Cook Calhoun, Shakespeare scholar Dr. Cook is Professor Emerita of English at Vanderbilt University and a Life Trustee of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon, England; she is the only American to currently hold this honor. • Christopher Hodgkins, Shakespeare scholar Dr. Hodgkins is Professor of Renaissance Literature at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. He also serves as Director of the Atlantic World Research Network. • John Gulley, Teaching Artist. Mr. Gulley is Professor of Theater Arts at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and has directed numerous productions, including Shakespeare plays for the NC Shakespeare Festival & UNCG.
The Biltmore Greensboro Hotel (111 W. Washington Street) has set aside a limited number of rooms at special rates for Shakespeare Set Free Institute attendees. All rooms are $89.07 including tax. This includes a Continental breakfast, free parking, evening wine reception, wireless Internet, and an on-site fitness center. Attendees are responsible for making his/her own reservation with the Biltmore Greensboro Hotel. Reservations must be received by July 10th, 2011 to qualify for the special rate.
