Queen's Tea June 8,2014

The Denver ESU Branch held their annual Queen's Tea on a very British summer Sunday afternoon. The buckets of rain falling outside made the House of Commons Tea Room warm and cozy. 25 members enjoyed a delicious High Tea enhanced by Penelope Caravato's "Tea on the Titanic"
stories about her British mother, growing up in a British home and descriptions of how tea was served to all of the different classes of travelers on the famous Titanic. Colorado's own "Molly Brown" played a major role by making sure future ships had enough life boats.
