The English-Speaking Union National Shakespeare Competition assists high school teachers across the country with their Shakespeare and language arts curricula. Through the competition, students are encouraged to develop their communication skills and an appreciation of the power of language and literature.

Schools in the Palm Springs Area serving grades 9-12 are invited to participate.
Complete 2018 School Participation Form by November 1, 2017 to register your school
Notify the ESU Desert of your School Winner by completing the School Winner Entry Form by February 4, 2018

The ESU Desert Branch Winner will advance to the National Competition in New York on April 23, 2018 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, Lincoln Center
