Who Will Manage My Trust?
For all of the individually managed trusts described (everything
except the PIF), a trustee (or co-trustees) must be named by
the donor, who will be responsible for investment,
trust administration and tax reporting. Donors may name themselves,
another person, financial institution of their choice, or name
The English-Speaking Union to serve as trustee.
Can Trusts Be Used to Support a Specific Purpose at The English-Speaking
Union?
Yes. While unrestricted gifts allow The English-Speaking
Union the greatest flexibility to allocate funds where they
are needed most, you may designate your trust for a specific
purpose. The designation will be written into your trust document
in order to ensure that your wishes are fully met. For more detailed information about any of The English-Speaking
Union's trust arrangements, please contact us at 212-818-1200.
