Welcome to the spring season & three events for ESU Michigan Branch.
On April 18th at 6 pm is our dinner meeting at Lochmoor Country Club in Grosse Pointe. Our speaker is Lydia Rushton, who is head of the department & sociology teacher at Pendleton Sixth Form Centre, part of Salford City College in Salford, Manchester, UK.
She is a Walter Hines Page Scholar sponsored by ESU & she will be in Michigan 5 days.
The second event is the Region VI Annual Conference on Sat. May 12th from 9 am to 4 pm at Clifty Falls State Park at the Clifty Inn in Madison, Indiana.
Friday dinner will be at Barb Kiffmeyer's lovely home overlooking the Ohio River. A car pool from Michigan & Toledo will travel to the conference on Friday, May 11th and return on Sunday, May 13th.
The Annual Meeting is the third event on Sunday, June 3rd at 12:30 pm for brunch at the Country Club of Detroit in Grosse Pointe.
