ESU New Orleans Branch

Welcome to the New Orleans Branch of the ESU

Welcome to the webpage of The English-Speaking Union, New Orleans Branch! We've been an active Branch for more than 30 years, and have over 100 current memberships, both singles and couples. We typically have a full calendar of interesting events from September through June of each year.

As you can see below on our events' announcement schedule, we had quite a line-up for this Centennial Year of the ESUUS. However, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, and the necessary stay-at-home orders and precautions, we've had to cancel all spring plans. We are hopeful that fall 2020 events will happen but we must plan prudently and according to the appropriate guidelines. Our webpage will be kept current and updated as circumstances unfold so, please check back often for the latest news regarding the New Orleans Branch of the ESU.

As a reminder of happier times, we started out 2020 with a fascinating program given by a survivor of the Andrea Doria. That was followed by an intriguing presentation by the author of The Lady of the Tower. Please view our pictures of these events, and many more, in our Photo Gallery!
