Shakespeare Across Cultures

Using the language and plays of William Shakespeare, American and international high school students collaborate over the Internet.

Some of the Shakespeare-related activities that take place include:

* Online discussion about the Shakespeare plays being studied
* Video exchange of student performances or rehearsals
* Writing and conversing in Elizabethan-style terms sourced from a lists of suggested words and expressions
* Teleconferencing in real time to listen to monologue recitations
* Discussing the variety of costumes, set design, and direction of local productions
* Sonnet-writing collaboration.
