Post Graduate Scholarships

The San Francisco Branch of the ESU, with the support of the Anglo-California Foundation, currently awards two $20,000 scholarships to Bay Area residents for graduate study at British Universities.

In recent years we have funded students at Oxford University, Cambridge University, the University of Edinburgh, and the London School of Economics.  The course of study is not limit and the branch has funded students pursing advanced degrees in the arts, the sciences, medicine, and literature.  The important thing we look at is an applicant's need to study at a particular British university and the applicant's ability to articulate and defend their academic goals to a committee composed in part of senior faculty from Bay Area universities.
