The English-Speaking Union National Shakespeare Competition assists high school teachers across the country with their Shakespeare and language arts curricula. Through the competition, students are encouraged to develop their communication skills and an appreciation of the power of language and literature.

Schools in the Seattle Area serving grades 9-12 are invited to participate.
Complete 2018 School Participation Form by November 17, 2017 to register your school
Notify the ESU Seattle of your School Winner by completing the School Winner Entry Form by February 23, 2018
Branch Competition Finals
1:00pm, March 4, 2018 at the Frye Museum of Art (704 Terry Ave., Seattle, WA 98104)
The ESU Seattle Branch Winner will advance to the National Competition on April 23, 2018 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, Lincoln Center, New York City
