Support the teaching of Shakespeare in the local schools and the annual high school Shakespearean Competition. See ROMEO AND JULIET on the big screen with its Oscar-winning costumes, cinematography, and music.

Jerry has been at the helm of the Tucson Branch ESU Shakespeare competition since 1992, 26 Years! Before that he taught English for 36 years at Pueblo HS - all levels from 9th grade to 12th grade AP. He coached swimming and tennis and held the Shakespeare competition at his school starting in 1988. "Nay [then] it isten times [3] true"!—almost 30 years of supporting Shakespeare in the schools! Jerry carefully chooses the quotes for each year's T-shirt.
Always teaching, this year he chose:
"The fool both think he is a wise man, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool."
The ESU celebrates English as a shared language to foster global understanding and good will by providing educational and cultural opportunities for students, educators, and members.
