National Shakespeare Competition

The English-Speaking Union National Shakespeare Competition assists high school teachers across the country with their Shakespeare and language arts curricula. Through the competition, students are encouraged to develop their communication skills and an appreciation of the power of language and literature. 

 

2018 ESU Central Pennsylvania Shakespeare Competition

Schools in the Central Pennsylvania area serving grades 9-12 are invited to participate.

School Competition

Complete 2018 School Participation Form by February 1, 2018 to register your school

Notify the ESU New York of your School Winner by completing the School Winner Entry Form by February 1, 2018

  • All School Winners must complete and return the Photo Release Form by February 1, 2018

Branch Competition Finals

10:30am, February 17, 2018 at Price Auditorium, Lock Haven University (401 N. Fairview St., Lock Haven, PA 17745)

National Competition

The ESU Central Pennsylvania Branch Winner will advance to the National Competition, tentatively scheduled for April 23, 2018 (Location to be confirmed)
