National Shakespeare Competition

The English-Speaking Union National Shakespeare Competition assists high school teachers across the country with their Shakespeare and language arts curricula. Through the competition, students are encouraged to develop their communication skills and an appreciation of the power of language and literature. 


2018 ESU Delaware Shakespeare Competition

Schools across the state serving grades 9-12 are invited to participate.

School Competition

Complete 2018 School Participation Form by January 15, 2018

Notify the ESU Delaware of your School Winner by completing the School Winner Entry Form by January 20, 2018

  • All School Winners must complete and return the Photo Release Form by January 20, 2018

Branch Competition Finals

10:00am, February 3, 2018 at Cape Henlopen High School, 1250 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958

National Competition

The ESU Delaware Branch Winner will advance to the National Competition, April 23, 2018 (Lincoln Center Theater, New York City)
