Region VII Meeting

Join fellow ESU Members, Executive Director Christopher Broadwell, and President Dr. E. Quinn Peeper for a weekend of productive dialogue and camaraderie in Dallas, Texas. This modern and sophisticated city attracts worldwide travelers, making the area the No. 1 visitor and leisure destination in Texas. Throughout the city, Members will enjoy four-and five-diamond/star hotels and restaurants, the largest urban arts district in the nation, fourteen entertainment districts and more.

Accommodations at a special rate have been secured at Aldophus Hotel (1321 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202), named one of the top ten hotels in the United States by Condé Nast Traveler.

This baroque Dallas landmark has been a legend among America's historic hotels since 1912, when St. Louis beer baron Adolphus Busch was approached by Dallas city founders to erect a luxury "palace"  that critics quickly named "the most beautiful building west of Venice." Deluxe King rooms have been made available between May 13 and May 14 for $169.00 a night. Rooms may be reserved using
this link or by calling 800-221-9083 and specifying your reservation for the English-Speaking Union room block.

The meeting will be held on May 14th at 10am in the one-time Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad headquarters (701 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202), just a short walk from the Aldophus. A corporate lunch and speaker will provide a break during the day's business.

Following the meeting and leisure time in heart of Dallas,  attendees will enjoy dinner at
chef-owned Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse (702 Ross Ave, Dallas, TX 75202), called "one of the nation's finest steakhouses" by Food Network's Jim O'Connor.

On Sunday, May 15th an optional "Queen's Tea" will be held at the The Aldophus. To register for this event, please follow this link or send a check to Hon. James W.
