Andrea Phillips is a certified School Counselor and has been working in education since 2011, beginning in her hometown in Washington state. Soon after, she realized that her passion was to live and work abroad. Since 2013, she has worked in Kuwait as a guidance counselor and then assistant principal. In addition to counseling, Andrea has taught reading, life skills, and yearbook courses.
Andrea is an alumna of Gonzaga University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in School Counseling. Currently, she is enrolled in an EdD program at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, working towards a degree in Transformational Leadership.
Andrea is passionate about shaping lives through education. She believes that educational learning opportunities not only influence children, but also help prepare educators to think and teach in new and exciting ways. Andrea is excited to explore the English language and to study at the University of Oxford alongside other passionate educators. She looks forward to sharing this experience with her students and in her continued work as an international educator.
