March 2022 - SHAKESPEARE COMPETITION Results
The Greenwich Branch held a virtual Shakespeare Competition in February 2022 with the following winners:

First Place - Declan Smith, Conard High School

Second Place - August Kittleson, Hall High School

Third Place - Machiavelli Merkle-Ward, Guilford High School

Honourable Mention - Hope Armstrong, Greenwich Academy

The Greenwich winner, DECLAN SMITH, was a Finalist in the ESU National Shakespeare Competition in April 2022.

A Champagne celebration of Her Majesty The Queen's  Platinum Jubilee and 96th Birthday will be held at The Belle Haven Club at 3 pm -


Guest of Honour:  Dr Quinn Peeper, National Chairman, The English Speaking Union.

WEDNESDAY 21 SEPTEMBER 2022

Luncheon and lecture by David Alan Richards on Rudyard Kipling's influence of his book KIM, on the establishment of the British intelligence service MI5 and MI6.  Lunch and lecture will be at The Round Hill Club at 12 noon.


THURSDAY 20 OCTOBER 2022

Luncheon and lecture by Curt DiCamillo, architectural historian  on THE ADAMS FAMILY - SCOTTISH ARCHITECTS WHO CHANGED THE WORLD.  Lunch and lecture will be at The Round Hill Club at 12 noon.



THURSDAY 17 NOVEMBER 2022

Luncheon and lecture by Russian scholar and historian, Stephen de Angelis on THE METAMORPHOSIS OF IMPERIAL PETERSBURG INTO WARTIME PETROGRAD TO COMMUNIST LENINGRAD.  Lunch and lecture will be at The Round Hill Club at 12 noon.



SUNDAY 11 DECEMBER 2022

Christmas luncheon by the fireside at The Field Club with Christmas carols, classical and popular music by Jonathan Vaughn, Associate Director of Music, Christ Church, Greenwich, and Christopher Klaich, New York vocalist and composer.  Lunch will be at 12 noon.
