The ESU Monmouth County Branch welcomed two new Board members this spring, Vicki Schmelzer and Lindsey Slott. Both Vicki and Lindsey bring extensive volunteer backgrounds with them and have jumped in with sleeves rolled up. In her short time on the Board, Lindsey has organized several of our upcoming events and provided a new perspective on outreach that is sure to increase the value of our events and offerings to our members. Vicki has organized the new English Conversation Program to be offered for the first time this September. We are happy to have two such creative and dynamic new members on our Board.
The ESU celebrates English as a shared language to foster global understanding and good will by providing educational and cultural opportunities for students, educators, and members.
