English Conversation participants gathered Saturday morning December 8 to celebrate the holidays and the successful completion of the new joint program sponsored by The English Speaking Union of Monmouth County and the Atlantic Highlands Library. The program, which matches a native English speaker with a non-native speaker, is designed for someone who already speaks basic English but wants to practice their skills in a supportive environment. The Spring Session of 8 classes will begin in February 2019 (dates Feb. 2, Feb. 23, March 9, March 23, April 13, April 27, May 4, and May 18). For additional information about the program, and how to become a student or a volunteer tutor, email email@example.com.
The ESU celebrates English as a shared language to foster global understanding and good will by providing educational and cultural opportunities for students, educators, and members.
