THE ESU NATIONAL SHAKESPEARE COMPETITION<\/h5>\n \n
A performance-based educational program serving grades 9-12<\/div>\n \n

Since 1983, the competition has engaged more than 360,000 young people. Approximately 2,500 teachers and 20,000 students in nearly 60 ESU Branch communities participate each year.<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n \n

The English-Speaking Union of the United States is a membership organization whose mission is facilitated locally by the volunteer efforts of our Branch members around the country.<\/h2>\n
