We are thrilled to introduce this year\u2019s Teachers Learning Abroad scholarship recipient, Che Hawkins, a social sciences teacher at Newark\u2019s Park Science High School. Che is an educator and an innovator. She was a wonderful ambassador for the Princeton Branch at Oxford this past summer. Welcome Back, Che!<\/p>\n

Applications are now open to apply for an ESU Princeton Branch TLab Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n

to study in the UK in the summer of 2026!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since 1957, the ESU has provided summer study abroad scholarships to middle and high school teachers at Oxford, Edinburgh, Shakespeare\u2019s Globe in London & most recently Stratford-upon-Avon. <\/span>Over 2,000 teachers have returned revitalized and inspired to share their new teaching strategies, knowledge and international perspective with over 200,000 students nationwide. <\/span><\/h3>\n

The ESU Princeton Branch will offer 1  Teachers Learning Abroad (TLab) Scholarship <\/strong>to  study in the UK during the summer of 2026. The courses offered are for 1-3 weeks in July and early August and the scholarship <\/span>includes tuition, private room, some meals and international airfare.<\/span><\/p>\n

To apply for an ESU Princeton Branch TLab Scholarship, please complete the 2026 ESU TLab Application Form.<\/p>\n

Please note, the ESU TLab Scholarship is a 2-Tier Application process. If awarded an ESU Princeton Branch TLab Scholarship, you will then be instructed to complete the application of the UK program you wish to attend by March 15, 2026 and email to ESU National Headquarters. All UK applications are reviewed by the ESU and forwarded to the UK by April 1st. The UK institution will email you directly of their admission decision in mid-April.<\/p>\n
