The English-Speaking Union National Shakespeare Competition assists high school teachers across the country with their Shakespeare and language arts curricula. Through the competition, students are encouraged to develop their communication skills and an appreciation of the power of language and literature.

Schools in the Research Triangle Area serving grades 9-12 are invited to participate.
Complete 2018 School Participation Form by December 4, 2017 to register your school
Notify the ESU Research Triangle of your School Winner by completing the School Winner Entry Form by February 5, 2018
Branch Competition Finals
7:30pm, February 16, 2018 at the SECU Auditorium at the North Carolina Museum of Art (2110 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh, NC 27607)
The ESU Research Triangle Branch Winner will advance to the National Competition, tentatively scheduled for April 23, 2018 (Location to be confirmed)
