\n Sandhills Shakespeare Competition <\/div>\n \n \n

The 2026 ESU Sandhills branch competition was held Sunday February 8 at CCNC.  Thirteen students from 4 local high schools participated, performing monologues and sonnets from the 16th century works of William Shakespeare. <\/h3>\n

The winner is Norah Beamguard of Pinecrest HS. She will compete in NYC at the National Shakespeare Competition on April 27. Thanks to the continued support of our branch, we will be able to send this student, her parents, and educator to this important event.  <\/h3>\n
