THE ESU NATIONAL SHAKESPEARE COMPETITION
A performance-based educational program serving grades 9-12

Since 1983, the competition has engaged more than 360,000 young people. Approximately 2,500 teachers and 20,000 students in nearly 60 ESU Branch communities participate each year.

The English-Speaking Union of the United States is a membership organization whose mission is facilitated locally by the volunteer efforts of our Branch members around the country.

We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and donations and membership contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
