Join the ESU for a book signing with the award winning author, Johna than Rose. The newly released The Literary Churchill: Author, Reader, Actor by Johnathan Rose. Mr. Rose's book introduces a Winston Churchill we have not known before. Award-winning author Jonathan Rose explores in tandem Churchill's careers as statesman and author, revealing the profound influence of literature and theater on Churchill's personal, carefully composed grand story and on the decisions he made throughout his political life. The Hon. Simon Howard is Chairman of Castle Howard Estate Ltd. He is the third son of the late Lord Howard of Henderskelfe. Called back to Yorkshire in 1979 to supervise the filming of Brideshead Revisited, he became Managing Director of the Estate, and in 1984 became Chairman of Castle Howard Estate Ltd. on the death of his father.

Join The Hon. Simon Howard as he lectures about Castle Howard and gives a visual personal tour of the house and its extraordinary landscape with temples, lakes, and fountains. Mr. Howard will talk about the generations of his family who have contributed to the house's rich history. He also will describe modern living at Castle Howard and the ongoing preservation and restoration projects that will ensure its survival into the future.

Ms. Smith currently chairs the Financial Services Business Development Committee, a twelve person group appointed by Cabinet to advise the Premier's Office on the promotion of financial services as well as on new international business opportunities for the territory. She is also the co-chair of the Health and Wellness Committee and a member of the Road Town Development and Management Committee. Most recently, Ms. Smith accepted an assignment from the Government of the Virgin Islands (British) to promote the territory's interests in Asia by launching BVI Asia House in Hong Kong.

Dr. Lucy Worsley, has a degree in history from Oxford and a doctorate in architectural history. Currently, she leads a team of 14 curators who are responsible for five Historic Royal Palaces including the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palaces, the Banqueting House and Kew Palace. She was formerly an Inspector of Historic Buildings for English Heritage and has published guidebooks and articles on a range of English country houses.

Her most recent BBC series and book, on which her lecture is based, A Very British Murder, examines the "morbid national obsession" with murder and was published in 2013.
