2026 Greenwich Shakespeare Competition

Winners of the Greenwich Branch Connecticut wide Shakespeare Competition on 4 March were –

First place – Abby Kesmodel, Greenwich Academy

Second place – Rowan Simonelli, ACES

Third place – Kara Starkey, ACES

Honourable Mention – Roby Sickles, Brunswick

The winner will compete in the ESU NATIONAL SHAKESPEARE COMPETITION at Lincoln Center, New York City on 27 April. Winner of that Competition receives a scholarship to study at The Globe Theatre, London.

2025 Greenwich Shakespeare Competition

The Greenwich  Branch held its 2025 Shakespeare Competition on 5 March with the following winners –

First place – Abby Kesmodel, Greenwich Academy

Second place – Robyn Sickles, Brunswick School

Third Place – Verbatim Rodriguez, ACES Educational Center for the Arts

Honourable Mention – Kaylin Harrell, ACES Educational Center for the Arts

The first place winner will compete in the ESU NATIONAL COMPETITION on Monday 28 April 2025 at Lincoln Center, New York City.

2024 Greenwich Shakespeare Competition

In 2024 Greenwich Branch had 22 Students competing, 13 schools represented, with following winners –

First place – Daia Jade, ACES Educational Center for the Arts

Second place – Sean Byrne, Norwalk High School

Third place – Audrey Compare, Fairfield Ludlowe High School

Honourable Mention – Ava Clear, Convent of the Sacred Heart
