Mark your calendar for our ESU Kansas City Annual Meeting and Luncheon Program featuring two ESU members’ cruise adventures on two luxurious Cunard Cruise ships—Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth. Ben Martin and Sam El Dalati share stories and beautiful photos of a Transatlantic crossing and an unforgettable voyage along the breathtaking coastline of Alaska. Learn about the history of these two iconic cruise ships including why the Queen Mary 2 is considered the world’s only ocean liner. Built as a sister ship to Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth joined the Cunard fleet in 2010 and has an elegant Art Deco interior evoking images of the Golden Age of travel.
To start our Annual Meeting we welcome a special guest, Daniel Assyia, president of the International Relations Council of Kansas City. Daniel will give us a brief history of the IRC and describe upcoming events and programs. The Kansas City Branch of the ESU has developed a long-time partnership with IRC and we have co-hosted and sponsored events jointly for many years.
ESU Kansas City members are reminded that our short annual business meeting will be held prior to Daniel’s presentation.
