The International Relations Council (IRC) is hosting a lecture about the Reagan years in the White House. IRC is inviting all ESU members to this lecture.
Ronald Reagan’s presidency concurred with some of the most remarkable world events in modern history, from the end of the Iran hostage crisis to the Reykjavik summit with Mikhail Gorbachev. As a member of the National Security Council and White House staff, guest speaker Frank Lavin had an inside view of the Reagan administration, and he’s compiled his stories into his new book Inside the Reagan White House: A Front-Row Seat to Presidential Leadership with Lessons for Today. Join us as he shares his insider perspective on the Reagan assassination attempt, Ollie North and the Contras, the 1998 Bush-Dukakis contest, and so much more. This will be a lecture you will not want to miss.
“Frank Lavin was there for much of the Reagan years, seeing the revolution up close and personal. Now, this witness to history has written it down in great detail for the benefit of all.” –Craig Shirley, author of Reagan’s Revolution: The Untold Story of the Campaign That Started It All
