FAQ:
Who can win the People’s Choice Award?
The judged competition results and the People’s Choice Award are separate. Judges select the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the stage competition, while the People’s Choice Award is determined by public vote. If the student who receives the most votes is also one of the top three winners selected by the judges, the People’s Choice Award will go to the student with the next highest number of votes, allowing us to recognize an additional student.

Who can see the competition videos?
Performance videos are on the ESU Shakespeare Competition YouTube Channel and are visible only to the ESU Shakespeare community and anyone with whom they share the link.

When does voting close? When will the prize be announced?
Voting closes at 11:00 pm CT on Tuesday, April 21. The winner will be announced on Monday, April 27 at the ESU National Shakespeare Competition and on the ESU National website
