Kyle Gerstel wins 2025 Shakespeare Competition

Kyle Gerstel from Mercer Island High School, winner of the 2025 Seattle Shakespeare Competition, with his teacher Daniela Melgar. Kyle placed in the top 10 in the National Finals and also won a People’s Choice Award. Daniela Melgar is attending a week long theatre class this summer at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-on-Avon on a scholarship from the Seattle Branch.
