Who We Are
ESU Syracuse Branch

Welcome to the Syracuse Branch of the English-Speaking Union. Our group was established in 1948. We meet monthly, September through May. The Programs are varied and illuminating, ranging from local agencies that provide community engagement, to local history, and the Arts.


The Syracuse Branch participates in the National Shakespeare Competition, with both private and public schools being involved. We look forward to contributing to Happy Hour.

The English-Speaking Union of the United States is a membership organization whose mission is facilitated locally by the volunteer efforts of our Branch members around the country.

We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and donations and membership contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
