The 2025 ESU Sandhills Branch regional Shakespeare competition will take place Saturday February 8 at 2 pm at the Village Chapel of Pinehurst.  Presently, we have 3 schools competing–Union Pines, Pinecrest, and The O’Neal School.  

The winner of our regional competition will participate in New York City in April at the National Shakespeare Competition. 

Thanks to the generous support of our branch, we have been able to send a student, teacher, and parent to NYC for this fabulous event.  Not only do they compete with 50 other students from across the country, they get to experience NY theater, the Lincoln Center, and classes at NYU.
